upgrade rear speakers
I recently bought the current speakers. They are.the following.
CSi A4 (center)
Rti A5 (left and right)
I currently use some horrible speakers that came with my onkyo home speaker in a box setup. I do not currently have an amp with preouts but consider i might.upgrade to one in the future. I would like something that would work nicely with my current speakers. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
Thanks!

I would use FXi A4's or FXi A6's in a side surround position to round out your systemHome Theater
Onkyo PR-SC5508 Sharp LC-70LE847U
Emotiva XPA-5 Emotiva XPA-2 Emotiva UPA-2

Considering what your running for the front three, I would just pick up a pair of Monitor 30's for 99 bucks and call it a day. With how much signal goes to the surrounds no sense in paying almost the 3/4 amount for surrounds as you did you front towers. Those FXi's however are built to match your other RTIA's and would be the best choice but it all depends on what your budget is.
This of course is all my opinion and is most likley incorrect...Living Room

currently uing same speakers with a entry level yammie. I'm running RTIa/1 until I get FXIa/6 for surrounds. Sounds pretty good, and can find for a fair price if patient.

Really??? Tommy 2tone, you crack me up.
I like Zanes idea, except, probably go with the iA4's. I have the A6's and they almost overpowered my RTiA9's when they were by them selves, when I added the wides I felt I had a much better blend.Source: BRP Panasonic UB9000, CDP Emotiva ERC3 - Display: LG OLED EVO 83 C3 - Pre/Pro: Marantz 8802A - Amplification: Emotiva XPA-DR3, XPA-2 x 2, XPA-6, Speakers, Mains/2ch-Focal Kanta No2's, C-LSiM706, S-702F/X, RS-RTiA9's, WS-RTiA9's, FH-RTiA3's, Subs - Epik Empire x 2

how the hell are you! Bud long time no talk, lol. In this thread with speakers he purchased it just seemed like that fxis may be towards the north end of his budget
I hear ya, and the M30's do kick it out as you well know, but bipole/dipole??? Pretty awesome speakers, in my opinion "which is most likely incorrect", blow the bookies out of the water :-)Source: BRP Panasonic UB9000, CDP Emotiva ERC3 - Display: LG OLED EVO 83 C3 - Pre/Pro: Marantz 8802A - Amplification: Emotiva XPA-DR3, XPA-2 x 2, XPA-6, Speakers, Mains/2ch-Focal Kanta No2's, C-LSiM706, S-702F/X, RS-RTiA9's, WS-RTiA9's, FH-RTiA3's, Subs - Epik Empire x 2

Thanks for everyones opinions! I appreciate the feedback. I bought what i did based on budget.at the time and to get my feet wet. Once i move.into my house i am hoping this system will be my 'test' system and ill jump up the Food chain slightly in quality and price.
I think ill go with the mentioned fxi surrounds and see how they sound.
Again thanks for all the input, very much appreciated! -
rears go 100 hz and up to maybe 5khz so spending more than needed in that freq range wont get much more qualty sound , spend the $$ on front stage equipment thats where the sound differance will be appreciated .
But there is no reason to have a piece of junk for rears !
I am adding some titanium jbl tweeters to the rears it may add some more effects , I know the aluminum vifa tweeter really gave direction to the center w/out overpowering brightness .I hear ya, and the M30's do kick it out as you well know, but bipole/dipole??? I also think the FXiA4s are tailor made for your application. One pair on the sides (set to dipole) and optional rears (set to bipole) will do wonders for your system and not break the bank.I recently bought the current speakers. They are.the following.
