Is a Sunfire amp common ground amp to work w my SDA's?

My wish list includes the Sunfire 5x 405 five channel amp. Does anyone know if this is a common ground amp? Also does anyone use this in their SDA setup and how does it sound? As always ,thanks to everyone who has helped me. Darryl

    I have a Sunfire 300/2 on my 1.2tl's and have used it on 1C's, CRS's and 2A's in the past. I've read many CP posts that state SDA's and Sunfire are a nice match.

    Forgot to add, my 1.2's have the upgraded 16mH 10 gauge inductors. The Sunfire has no problem driving the load and generates very little heat.

    Bit off topic but what does it mean when one says common ground and what other types of grounds exist?

    You going to bi amp it? you can take 2 channels to the top 2 to the bottom and just leave the 5th one not running.

    Better yet, take the 5th channel to your center channel and let your AVR (if that's what you're using) power your surrounds for you.
