looking through the rims, kind of looks like he's grooved the rotors pretty well, too. I guess for aerodynamic cooling at high speeds.

"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

I hope he did that to his rims, because any shop that would consider that should be shut down.

Looked at the first couple of pics thinking they need some TLC, but not too bad. Then I got to the one that showed the re-drilling! Holy chit! You'd have to be a farking idiot to ride on those!

Wow, just wow. When I worked at a tire shop 12 years ago, that vehicle would not have left the shop until it had new rims on it, and yes they can legally keep a vehicle if it is unsafe.

Actually guys alot of wheel shops do this. I've seen customers ask for a specific wheel and a wheel shop will redrill the wheel to fit properly. Nothing unsafe about it, similar to universal wheel fitment.

Are you serious!! Did you see how little metal was left and the crack on one hole? I would feel real unsafe driving these at 75mph

Well if that's truly the case......a lot of wheel shops need to shut down and enroll their employees in a program tailored for special needs individuals.:lol:

Yes lots of people do get there wheel re-drilled, but the way those were done is not proper or safe.

i rather get wheels with the right bolt patterns for my car. The sad thing is most people dont even get wheels with an offset that allows you to drive well, they do it just so they can tuck a larger wheel onto the car.

I have 17x10 wheels on my impreza and had to get wide body fenders and have the rears pulled/rolled. Ive also seen people ride around with 3/5 lugs because they lost them while trying to play mechanic at home with a clue to what they're doing.

As stated earlier some people need to just leave things alone. This does make me want to get some gold deep dish wheels for my 964 though hehehe.
