Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Nice ticket George! I would have gone with you. But I was only 4.8 years old

Haaah, lasereath will never be accused of not being a precise man.

My first concert was at the municipal auditorium, saw Brownsville Station and two others whos name i cant remember, still remember the old fashioned stage rush when brownsville station hit the stage, cub codas funny glasses, and a funny smell in the air.

Lord to go back to those days and give it all a try again.

    Thanks george.

Was not 71, must have been 73 or so, the other band with a hit had two words in the name though, and its bugged me for years i cant remember their name.

About 10 years ago i threw away all the ticket stubs from my concert days, probably 50 or 60 alltogether.

I have never been to a Ted Nugent show, and my only Alice show was the Welcome to my nightmare tour at the omni.

    Suzi Quattro opened.

They could have been the third group, I loved their later hits, Im not in love and the one other with the groundbreaking video with the faces morphing,I have got an album of theirs.

But this name was something kinda rhymey like decca mecca or mezza nezza, obviously not the real name but thats all my shriveled brain can put together, but the act i have tried for years to remember was not 10cc.

Where the hell were you getting hashish, that was pretty much just a legend to us, along with hash oil and thai stick.

All of a sudden im hungry.

Holy crap, i was there back than. Thats frightening to thing we were in the same place at the same time and now we chat on line about it 42 years later.scarry weird. Piedmont park was a wild time than all the good music and good times that was a once in a lifetime time. Are you familier with the celerbration of life. Week long rock festival in louisana around that time?
