Wrong Tweeters for my SDA's!

well, I finally discovered the difference between the 1.2's and the 1.2TL's! I went to install a set of SL2000's that TeeKay was gracious enough to hook me up with and discovered that my cabinets contained SL3000's instead of 2000's.

    Only because you can't sell on the Polk forum with less than 100 posts. They just stated this not to long ago. I think you'll be very happy with the rdo-198's. They're much better than the sl3000's and 2000's. Make sure you posts some pictures.

    Because you cannot see/post in the Flea Market does NOT give you (or anyone else) the right to post pseudo-for sale ads anywhere else on the forum. It defeats the purpose of the rules. You are almost a quarter way to 100 posts and you can sell the tweeters following the forum rules. Please hang around and participate (ask questions about your SDA's and modifying them, etc) and follow the forum rules. Thank you sir.

    I thought that the rules were that you couldn't post in the classifieds...not that you could not conduct business with other members. Besides, if I am going to let the tweeters go, wouldn't it be better to offer them to members here at a better price than when I post them on ebay and mark them up another $5 each? Or possibly that a member on here might say "I have a pair of 3000's that I'll swap you for the 2000's.

    So I really don't feel I am violating any rules by this post. This isn't a classified ad, so it is not misplaced. I am simply recounting an experience I have had and exploring my options!

    Please, report it. If I am in the wrong, they can delete it. I apologize. It wasn't like I made a thread saying...this for sale....this price....contact me @....

    I am more fishing to see if there is actually a resale market for them, or if everyone just upgrades when they go out. The purpose of this thread was much more than trying to actively shop some tweeters. I am sorry I came across that way.

    I don't even know for sure that I want to sell them...like I said, I would be interested in swapping the 2 SL2000's...but is there a threadplace for bartering?

    Or maybe a response from someone saying "just plug in the 2000's with the 3000's...you are going to be upgrading anyway"

    Hell, I'd have just made a few more posts to get all the idiots on here riled up to get my post count up and then listed them for sale just to pi$$ the same people off. he now has a post count of 108. There are indeed a lot of a$$h0les on here ( myself included), but there are some smart ones on here so sometimes we must put up with the stench.

    It's no big deal to me. I'm pretty thick skinned. I breached etiquette, received my reprimands...was "reported", nothing happened and that was that. And, as you see, I'm over 100 posts and the tweeters aren't even listed because...as I said then, I'm not sure if I want to sell them any time soon. I was just testing the waters.

    Take then out to work show them and say they are these new satellite relays that allow you to get 500+ stations.
