There is no place close by I can audition these two, so I am hoping someone here has heard both and can give me some feedback on each. Also would like some suggestions on Polks in the same price range (350-500). I have some LS 50s but my listening space is so small I'm thinking of going with some smaller speakers.
Thanks!

Very different sounding speakers. The 10.1s are midrange warriors and deliver an amazing musical experience for such a small asking price. The SM line sparkles with transparency and makes for a great home theater speaker. So they're both great, but great for different reasons.

    Two Channel Setup:

    Speakers: Wharfedale Opus 2-3
    Integrated Amp: Krell S-300i
    DAC: Arcam irDac
    Source: iMac
    Remote Control: iPad Mini

    3.2 Home Theater Setup:

    Fronts: Klipsch RP-160M
    Center: Klipsch RP-160M
    Subwoofer: SVS PB12NSD (X 2)
    AVR: Yamaha Aventage RX-A2030
    Blu Ray: Sony BDP-S790
    TV Source: DirecTV Genie
