Hello,
I was talking with an old friend of mine who has been in the audio business for a very long time. During the conversation he mentioned that he is helping a friend of his sell some older audio gear. There's a Sansui AU999, KLH 6 speakers, Dual 12919 and a Sony TC650 available. This person also has the complete Time/Life "Jazz" series available as well.
I don't know any prices, but he felt very reasonable, more of a "needs good home" type of thing than making money. I told my friend that I'd mention it here since there is a very knowledgeable cognoscenti on CP. This would be for a Baltimore vicinity pickup and if interested send me a PM and I'll forward my friend's contact info.
Cheers, Ken

Hi TNHNDYMAN,
I got the feeling from my friend that is offer is really for a local pickup sale as opposed to being shipped out of the area. But, I could be wrong, send me a PM and I'll give you my friend's contact information. He's helping another person so I don't know prices or shipping preferences, but you can ask. I can vouch for my friend, he's been involved with music and audio, in Baltimore, for over 25 years and has a sterling reputation.
Cheers, Ken -
All nice pieces! Hope you can get a local sale. Sansui should sound nice with those classic Kloss speakers. DUAl TTs, nothing to sneeze at! And even a old Sony R-T-R!
Only question I would have that people should think about is. Do the KLH 6s have a "removable" grill or are they the earlier totally epoxied units. Because I got into a mess with a set of those, and was unable to upgrade the crosssovers (there were no highs).
GLWTS!

tried to pm but your inbox is full Ken. I'm not needing more vintage gear, but like the old sansui gear. Local sale would probably be best.2-ch System: Parasound P/LD 2000 pre, Parasound HCA-1000 amp, Parasound T/DQ Tuner, Phase Technology PC-100 Tower speakers, Technics SL-1600 Turntable, Denon 2910 SACD/CD player, Peachtree DAC iT and X1asynchorus USB converter, HSU VTF-3 subwoofer.

Went and looked at this gear today. Unfortunately the Dual was not functioning correctly, possibly just needs a new auto switch. The Sansui seemed to be fully functional (didnt teat all inputs etc_ working and sounded very nice w/the KLH 6's. The sixes were the old style w/out anyway to access the internal parts w/out damaging grill or drilling out the back plate. I didnt look at the reel to reel because....
Somebody should get the Sansui at least and I am tempted to call them back and make an offer for the Sansui and the KLH's (like I need anymore speakers). Very nice people and they were asking for reasonable money.I got static in my head
