Yaqin MC10L tube integrated with 4 genalex 6922 pre tubes+2 MIT IC's

I just made a purchase on an anthem D2 and I am selling this only to please my wife and get some money back

I love this high current class A monster and it saddens me to let it go. I have 1 pair of MIT exp 2 interconnects to go along with this and have upgraded the preamp section for greatly improved stereo. I had put some genalex el34's in but took them out and sold them because the yaqin stock power tubes had more bass and better mids. I will include the stock pretubes should you decide you may need them for a rainy day

My asking price is $500 plus shipping

The pic here is when it was brand new out of the box before any tubes got put in

    $400 if you just want the stock tubes and no IC's, I could get $100 easy on ebay for the genalex's because they have have barley been used. They retail for like $200 and the MIT would sell for at least $40

    They are identical except for the 4 tubes in the preamp section. I have 6922's but your 4 pre tubes use 12AT7. The 12AT7 supposedly has a better low frequency response and low noise but at the high frequencies its weaker. This should work out great for you if you use a tweeter but I benifit from the 6922's with my electrostat panels

    I think you will be in for a shock when you hear this. I bought my yaqin because I loved the look of it but then I hooked it up and got a shock. Vocals just seem really powerful and guitars are just so full, the bass just bounced and make my floor vibrate. Even now I just cant replicate that with my Anthem D2 that retailed for $7500 and an amp with a retail of $2000

    One time I lent out my hdmi cables and got a movie from netflix, I wanted to watch it badly so I used the rca from my marantz dvd player to the yaqin. The movie was La Horde ( best french zombie action movie ever made) Well I put it on and the sound was awesome, shotguns never had a harsh tint and just exploded with bass and power and everything had more weight. I still think a brand new one of these is the best deal on the market. You could not even build one of these yourself for the price. I look forward to hearing your impressions once yours arrives. Don't forget to set the bias to the max settings for fuller sound it really makes a diff, at the same time don't go over it

    My life revolves around visuals and I'm pretty much enthralled by the photographs of the Yaqin.

    Except for you having mentioned it I'd probably not have admitted that here simply because it opens me up to being flamed by some of the audio purists. ("Who CARES what it looks like??? All that matters is what it SOUNDS like!!! *#&^$%@"

    Not really that surprised. Some of those Chinese Tube equipment manufacturers are literally "giant" killers with the right tube set. Mum's the word. Don't want everyone jumping in and sending prices threw the roof. lol

    Shipping would cost $50 and you offered me the sum of $370 with the tubes and MIT cables. I said to pm me if you did not want the tubes and cables and we could come to an arrangement but no reply. So you can forgive my less than tentative response when your asking about the latest model of this unit on my FS thread, my apologies to ya bud

    Anyways the new model of this has diff tubes, not as good as the genalex and they have shaved off 20% of the power making it 10 tube watts per channel less. Again I stuck some high price genalex el 34's in this unit and the stock power tubes outperformed them, with an all genalex tube config this unit sounded bright
