Thanks Gary, I just thought I'd post it to get the pro opinion. I called the seller twice to talk, but no return call. Now I have a little amo thanks to you. Cabs look nice....am I right??

    Those aren't monitor 10's. They're monitor 11's.

I have no clue as to why they would say Monitor 10's. Are those the actually pics of the speakers he's selling or did he grab them off the Internet for reference? Either way they're both good and worth the asking price.

How do the monitor 11 sound vs the 10's with the peerless tweeters?

What I said Larry, they are indeed 10's in great, super shape. Still might grab them, but if anyone here has a desire for them before I get around to it, have at it. I have my hands full either way!!

Never saw those before. But must have an interconnect cable since they are SDA's. Right?

Leroyjr1 was right. The picture the seller used was that of the 11's, so I called him and he said that it is written on the back mon 10's so I went to look, and his are not the ones in the pic. I asked him and he said his camera didn't work so he grabbed the pic off the internet, His 10's are in great shape looking like walnut vinyl. Doubt he'll get 175.00. They do look nice though!!

Monitor 10s are a very nice speaker. Not worth much more than 150 (and that's if they've been recapped and are in great shape). If you have a room where SDA placement is just NOT possible and you want a decent two channel that actually has some bass without a sub. Then these are a nice choice!

I have a set of 10As that I sometimes run on an old Marantz 2265. And they sound "great" on that ancient receiver! I have a middle of the road TT hooked to that and for the price its hard to match!

But I also bought my Monitor 10As (peerless) for about $85? And they're here to stay!
