Maybe I should wait to build my HT when recievers and bd players can handle these new formats?

I think I'm going to need a bigger room. I'm currently upgrading to 7.1, and considering taking advantage of my AVR's 9.1.
I thought the 7.1 was a bit much. Guess not.Polk Fronts: RTi A7's
Polk Center: CSi A6
Polk Surrounds: FXi A6's
Polk Rear Surround: RTi4

9.1 is only better if you have the room for it.AVR: Onkyo Tx-NR808
Amplifier: Carver A-753x 250 watts x 3
Fronts: Polk RTI A7 (modded by Trey VR3)
Center: CSI A4 (modded by Trey VR3)

I have 9.1 using DPL-IIz/Audyssey DSX, and I love it. As it seems that DTS derives their directional cues in much the same way that Dolby does, I imagine this track ought to work nicely with DPL-IIz Height. Guess I'll see when it comes out.Equipment list:
Onkyo TX-NR3010 9.2 AVR
Emotiva XPA-3 amp
Polk RTi70 mains, CSi40 center, RTi38 surrounds, RTi28 rears and heights
SVS 20-39CS+ subwoofer powered by Crown XLS1500
Oppo BDP-93 Blu-ray player
DarbeeVision DVP5000 video processor

If you can count the number of audio cues you notice due to 9.1 or 11.1 or... on one hand (or one finger) in a movie, is it worth the investment?
This is not a statement, it is an honest question. I just want to hear opinions on this. -
Can Hollywood studios put 9.1 tracks on older movies like Apocalypse Now and release them on bluray?
