I have the 'Fifth Element' superbit dvd and it's fantastic.
It's DTS sound and blows away the DD sound of the original.
Picture quality is fantastic too, definitely worth the money if
you're a fan of this movie. IMO the DTS alone is worth the money.
Costco carries Superbit dvd's sometimes and they are
    pretty cheap, $18.99 or so.

Kinda of depends on your likes/dislikes really. SuperBit titles do not contain extras, instead that space on the disk is used to offer higher quality video data. If your into the extra features, then SuperBit isn't for you, but if you are looking for a better quality image then SuperBit titles ar great. I agrre with mhw58 that The 5th Element is a very good example (although the plot is a bit weak IMHO) of the improved video quality, I would also suggest AirForce One as a title to check out. The video is fantastic and the DTS soundtrack is equally good.

I have a few of the Superbit DVD's.. i agree the DTS soundtracks are worth the cost. I don't notice to much better video quality. Yes it is better than regular DVD's, but will you awestruck when you see the image quality? Probably not. Every bit of image and audio quality is a plus in my book.. but don't expect it to look like HDTV.

Another prime example of an excellent superbit DVD is Das Boat. I own quite a few Superbit DVD's and Das Boat and the Fifth Element are probally my two favorite.
