1 movie for our past, regrettably, probably one for our future.

Happened to choose both of these the same night at random on netflix, never heard of either.
The first is "The Pruitt Igoe myth", americas first large scale housing project, in St. Louis, thirty years after construction, it all had to be demolished.
The interviews with some of the original folks who moved in showed decent, grateful people who valued a hand up and a decent life for the first time for most of them.
As the years went by, the buildings and the community fell apart, ending with inner city hell.
The second is "Tell me and I will forget", a doc about south africa post apartheid.
Words cant describe what life is like down there, but no shortage of nobel prizes!
Atlantas PR compared to reality is a good comparison, sadly, I think a sign of things for future generations of americans.
If you have seen or do see, let me know how you feel about these.
