Provided it is dark enough, you should all go outside and look at the moon.
There is a lunar eclipse in progress. In a couple of hours, the moon should turn a dark, blood red color. You missed the advance but the color should be red again when the shadow retreats.
Also, later at night, there will be a leonid(sp?) shower. Basically a small meteorite shower. Lots of really birght little streaks zooming across teh sky.
