It's taken me several years to acquire my system and now ready to install. I have the LSI 7s, LSIC purchased from Mantis way back when and the inwall surrounds. This is replacing my RM7200 and onkyo 735?. At work so not sure of the model no. I plan to replace the sub that came with the package but for now I will need to connect it to the sc-27. Is connecting from the receiver sub out to the LFE (unfiltered) with a sub cable prefered? or will a need a "Y" splitter? link to manual www.polkaudio.com/downloads/manual/RM7200_MN.pdf
Sorry in advance for the entry level question.
If you don't mine, can one post a link to this site where I can find more recommended connections, cable types to use for other componet connections. I seem to have trouble using the search feature. It never recognizes the input words even when I type in SC-27.

You can use a Y splitter if you wish, but will be fine just running a single RCA. Try monoprice.com for a sub cable, any RCA to RCA should work out for you, just make sure you get a long enough one. DO connect it to LFE out, make sure your SC is crossed at 80hz, you'll do this once you run MACC and then go back into speaker setup to do it. Here is a quality product for the price - http://www.bluejeanscable.com/ -
Good luck, I see you went with a SC series and the 7's, I can only assume you did that because anything more would require an amp, let us know what you think. -
Thanks Codyc1ark. I odered LC-1 from BJC.
I went with the SC due to the postings on this site and not so much because I'm a pioneer man from way back. I still have an SX 680 and 1080 purchased in the early 80's in my work shop.
