Bummer!!! Did not see your earlier post about the MOBO!!! That really is painful! Glad you did not really ruin it though.
If you don't have one already you really should consider a NAS....it really is your own personal cloud, and it frees up your computer HD ALOT.

Hobby - I have the new memory installed and wrote down all the settings and they are pretty spot on when I look at BIOS. It looked like it was all auto-detect. I'm presuming you mean we're getting Advanced here?

Also....What's your opinion on the best way to get my wife's docking station integrated into the dual monitor system I have now without a KVM? If My MAIN computer is off, the monitors should auto detect right, and she should be able to work like normal. I have a Unifying USB nugget on her station and my computer so it recognizes everything in regards to mouse and key board onboth computers right now. Basically, she docks and two monitors turn on(Her VGA, Me DVI)...business as usual in theory but I picked up the wrong connectors today and when I tried to roll her to DVI and me to HDMI, I had serious problems. I cant HDMI me, even tho' I have two boards capable of doing it. I have to play a movie to get that.

Please forgive my ignorance but unless its got HDMI signal. it wont DUal MOnitor me right? Standard viudeo is simply DVI or VGA period correct? That's fine, don't care and got everything connected to watch a movie on my secondary svcreen a few minutes ago, so the cards work.

WHat I would like to do is be as seemless as posible for her and not have to instruct her to press buttons and such, although she's not dumb, she dislikes me explaining STEPS to her so the eaiser the better. What do you think? I figure if I turn ME OFF. the MON's will detect her when she docks right?

I have unified keyboard and mouse so it doesnt care as long as a nugget exists in each setup right? Just confirm, or anyone, confirm that I'm doing something correctly.....flucvk man I'm so done with this shite. I'me doing my own thing with dual Video and she just wants two screens and a mouse and a keyboard and a goldne bri8ck freakind road and a monkey that....well, that appears to be me but I'm much more dashing than a babboon. Don't go there....yet.

What should I do? Alll my work for the main computer looks great and BIOS is solid for generics. I can print, we have all the wireless components on new ID's so it seems ok, even the TV in the new offive works and we can HULU , YouTube or whatever until we get a dedicated line.....I now your gonna throw a wrench at me. WE're connected man, like sound or some kind of activity has to be going on at all tiumes every where....the only silent location is the bathroom. And that will change when I gut it.....we're weirds man and I have to have connectivity as much as possible. It's sad but you now what it's not like we're glued, its just noise.

SIDETRACKED. WTF SHould I tweak on my MEM since I went 32 from 12? WHat bonus am I getting here? What should I care about? WHile I'm not dumb....I think 32GB of resident MEM seems excessive and unused for the most part.

If you increase anything on my end, based on what I have installed. Let's talk offline. I've done what I can do and rebuilt my whole computer. What I don't know is small stuff.

This goes for anyone. We need to stasrt bartering, trading and gratis stuff here guys. This is a lost trade and something that doesnt involve anything but folks talking to one another . I've sent dozens of items that I've collected over the years for free to many folks, recently Warlocks1....why? Because I had it handy and he's a good Polkie.

The **** for Tat or Quid Pri Quo doesn't have or has never been the standard. We help folks and we help them regradless of how long they have been a Polkie. If you have one post, well, you better step up and make it worth the effort but you'll find help here. The mantra is payback and goodwill to the next person.

I gotta say good job with the memory....honestly i am surprised that the mobo settings for the memory were already optimized. As long as the settings are the same on the packaging as what is shown on the bios, without serious cooling I would leave it at that. As far as your video you also might want to make sure you have the correct DVI cable. Sometimes single DVI will work where a dual DVI cable might not. I don't think 32 GB is excessive....always nice to have some overhead.

I have serious cooling on everything and a dedicated fan for both video cards. The Dominator memory is seriously passively cooled so if it can be mildly tweaked, no problem but yeah Corsair stated that the settings were automatically sent to the MOBO. That was certainly spot-on.

I have the correct DVI cable and know what you mean. My wifes' docking station came with DVI as well so I had to go with VGA adapters since she doesn't care and only need WP functions, not gaming like I do. I checked the HDMI with a Blu-Ray and it works perfectly so that's cool. Do you think I could just use a splitter and have her on DVI as well?m I have four outputs but two inputs....as you know of course.

The one problem I had was the Zalman fan was too short to allow all that memory was so tall and YES, 32GB is completely overkill, I know. I installed the stock INtel fan or now since my older Cooler Master V8 didn't fit either because of a bracket problem. IN reality the OEM fan would be fine but you know computonerds....it will be replaced with something prettier and more sexy. What is neat is that the Corsair memory is also lighted so it's cool inside. I'll take some pics for those that even care about that kind of stuff.

I love your water cooled setup Hobby and bet it's also a screamer....more than my modest plug and play setup. You're more hardcore than I am.

Pick up a H100 for the CPU and an Antec 620 for your GPU: http://www.overclock.net/t/1203636/official-amd-ati-gpu-mod-club-aka-the-red-mod/0_20

I seriously don't have an overheating issue at this point, or anything close. I've just adjusted my memory to tested speed and all is well so far. I'm checking out Overclocking.net for some tweaks.

I'll check out the H100 Face. I have the entire top section of my mid-tower case open so the radiator could go there right? It's just wherever it fits I presume?

Here's a pic of the single video card and other stuff installed. I just mounted the side fan so it blows directly onto both cards and in theory I guess out the back. I'll get a pic of both of them installed later. What you don't see is a Wireless NIC card below the top AGP video slot....the problem I was seeing was when I install the second AGP, the fan is almost completely blocked by the NIC card....ALMOST, SO I figured a side mounted fan would help with any airflow issues since it's literally right on top of both, blowing into both fan assemblies. It's quiet to boot. I like these Cougar fans.

H100 and red mod? So are you going to watercool? The h100 is a very nice easy way to get excellent watercooling with minimal effort. Might I recommend Feser One when you add coolant...it is nonconductive (I have had it leak on my MOBO badly without any damage). If you decide to get carried away check out this place http://www.mountainmods.com/
This is where I have gotten alot of my parts. The beauty of watercooling is that you can have tomorrows processor at yesterdays prices.

All kidding aside this stuff is my 2nd hobby.
But I find it even more expensive than the Polk thing as tomorrow is always the next big upgrade. A good analogy is "easy to please but hard to satisfy" but I guess it's that way with almost everything right?
