Hi all,
Like many of you, I have too many things. I want a new AVR, so I am going to sell this amp to assist with the justifications.
It is really clean, in fact I think what you see on the faceplate in the picture is just assorted dust and such. It has never been rack mounted. I don't have the box, but I am one very picky packer, so no worries on getting it to you if I need to ship it.
I've seen these sell for $550-$600, so I'll go with $500 plus shipping from 61820.
Here is a generic spec list pulled from somewhere else:
SPECIFICATIONS
Continuous Power Output > 135 watts RMS x 6, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 8 Ω, all channels driven
> 200 watts RMS x 6, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 4 Ω, all channels driven
Continuous Power Output - Bridged > 350 watts RMS, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 8 Ω, each bridged channel, 3+4, 5+6
Current Capacity: 30 amperes peak, per channel
Slew Rate: > 130 V/?second
Frequency Response: 12 Hz - 120 kHz, +0/-3 dB

TIM: Unmeasureable

That's a nice amp. Wish I could justify the purchase. Someone will get a nice new toy. Couple of questions:
What part of CIL are you in?
Also what would be the best way to power a front stage with this? Bridge channels 3/4 and 5/6 for the mains and then use either channel 1 or 2 to power the center? These would be 8 ohm speakers so I would guess that the front two would be getting 350 while the center would only be powered by 135?
Thanks in advance -

You could in theory use 2 of the channels to power each speaker.... IMHO though I would just run all 5 channels off it and be done. The 6th could be used for a DIY sub, or just left alone."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." You could also bi-amp your front speakers with 4 channels, and use one for the center. I never bothered bridging it for mine, as I felt it was sufficiently powerful in the standard mode. Even at 135 per channel that beats out 99% of AVRs. And there is no harm in not using one channel...

If all others in line before me have passed, are you open to trades + cash or are you looking for cash only?"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Kuntasensei is pondering.
But if he passes I am always open minded to trade offers, so don't hesitate to ask. -

If he passes, let me know via PM..... I might be interested in this beast and would be willing to drive to pick it up."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." It breaks my heart to pass on this, 'cause it would've made for a hell of a 9.1 setup (and I actually woke up this morning thinking, "Why the hell didn't you just buy it?"). I just can't justify it so soon after buying the HCA-2003 (and I would have to do major rearranging and spend a bunch on ICs). Good luck with the sale! And if this sucker doesn't sell by next month, maybe the voices in my head will override my common sense. :razz:Equipment list:

You SHOULD laugh, leroy! I'm gonna use it to power F/Xi30 side surrounds and RTi28 rear surrounds and heights! Probably total overkill... but screw it! :biggrin:Equipment list:
