Pre amp question

I'm no longer using the CD player since I got the Sqeezebox, so I'm going to can it and free up some space in the living room wall unit. I want to add a Rogue Perseus Magnum to the main in's on the integrated (see sig). I'm assuming it bypasses the pre of the integrated but want to be sure before I pull the plug.

I don't post a lot so I want to take this opportunity to thank many of you regular posters for helping me to set up a fantastic sounding system. The wealth of info here is invaluable

I am not understanding your question. You have the rogue preamp, you hook the squeesebox up to the rogue, rogue to your amp or are you talking about hooking the W4S dac on a fixed output to the Rogue then to the amp? Are you using the NAD as your amp and you want to bypass the preamp part of it? ( btw darn good integrated amp)

I don't know what a Rogue Perseus Magnum is but as long as its gain (level) can be varied you should be able to bypass the integrated amp's preamp section via the amp's "main in" and "mainline" the Magnum thingy to the power amp! You will of course lose any of the preamp section's functionality (switching, monitor loops, volume control, filters or EQ, if so equipped).

Yes, if installed in the integrated's loop. Or, he could use the Rogue as a pre, and just use the NAD as a power amp.
