The clean out of unused gear continues as I go through some things.

First up is a pair of Cardas Crosslink speaker cables, 8ft long with Silver bananas. I bought these on the forum I think last year or so and dug the sound. Just not using them and would like to see them go.

115.00 shipped.

Next 24ft HDMI cable. Had this when I had the HT set up. Just sits around and collects dust.

40.00 bucks shipped.

Finally I have a DIY sub that is a monster with a 12" HSU woofer and 300 watt plate amp. I would be more likely to sell the driver and amp together and for both I would like 125.00 plus shipping. If you want the enclosure as well I would do 150.00 and local pick up as it weighs probably 80lbs or more. Its primed for paint but never had a chance to get it painted.

Chris, who is the HDMI cable made by? Also, what type of metal(s) is it made with?

Its just a Rocketfish from Best buy but I got it after I had my mono price fail and wouldn't pass the signal. I've used this with a HDMI connector with another cable and it worked great and never had issues with drop outs.

Not sure what internal wires are but connectors are the "gold plated" type and there is a specific source and display end. I just used this for my projector from the AVR and never had an issue. If I ever did HT again I will end up having a different set up so I will not have a need for such a long cable.

    Hey Chris,

PM is full so I am just posting here. Nothing too personal

Got the sub and amp Monday. Just opened it up and plugged it in free air to make sure its working, everything appears to be fine. I might swap it out with my HSU VTF-3r woofer this weekend to give it a full workout, but that would just be for grins and giggles.

Great packaging, great communication, thanks a lot!

BTW, do you happen to have the measurements of the enclosure that it was in? Or the port size? Since I don't have an exact model number and you said that it sounded really good in its previous enclosure, if I can't get better specs I will just plan on copying that enclosure. Which brings me to my second question: I thought that you had said that the woofer said HSU VTF HO or something like that, but I cannot find anything like that on the actual woofer. I had panned on contacting HSU directly and getting the measurements of the original sub and just copying that. So if you can confirm that would be helpful.

    Thanks!
    Paul

Paul I sent ya a PM and cleaned out the in box. This sub was originally bought by Freddy here on the forum as I traded him a MP1K for his sub. He was the one that told me it was out of a HSU sub and was bought I think from another member here. Sorry for any confusion!

I tried pulling the port plug out myself however it was sealed into the box very well and I couldn't have gotten it without breaking it. I will get the measurements tonight when I get home.
