Up for sale is my Yaqin Tube integrate. I decided to take the bedroom setup in a different direction so this guy has to go. I am the original owner and have less than 20hrs on the unit. The tubes are stock and bias has been checked regularly, everything functions perfectly. All original packing & accessories are included.

Price is $450 shipped

I have this unit and it is a yaqin mc10L, dont know why yours is a mc10t ?

I have hooked this unit up to a plain old mp3 player and it still rocked. Right now I dont have a DAC so I use my yaqin to smooth out the digital on my squeezbx touch. Its the best bargain out there at 52 wpc of tube power. Don't forget you can roll the tubes easily as the bias for the power el34 is easily adjusted. I put some genelex 6922 gold lions in the preamp section and got a real nice sound

I have the MC-10L. The 10T is basically the same except it uses 12AT7 in the preamp instead of 6n1's. I absolutely love my 10L! One of the best bargains to be found in tube integrateds.
Buy this and roll some NOS tubes in the preamp section and you will be very happy!

No it does not, quite often if I am lazy I just use the volume on my source for some control

    1) From what I read in the linked PDF it seems there's a lot to learn about using a unit like this. True?

    2) Would it drive my LSi-15's?

    Thanks.

Nothing to learn except some common sense basics.

    1) don't leave tubes on unattended as in leaving to go somewhere or being outside for 1/2 the day, etc. It's just good practice in the very unlikely event there is an issue.

    2) never run a tube amp with OUT a load, ie; always have speakers hooked up before powering up.

    3) the biasing procedure is easy as pie.

That's it compared to a SS amp.

Can someone explain to me how a low (52?) wattage amp like this would compare to my GFA-555ii?

I'm novice relative to many on this board, and my novitiate thinking is that I'd not get nearly the volume and maybe not the quality of sound from this unit.

    Thanks.

I've never heard a GFA-555 amp, so i cant directly compare. But for me personally ive always prefered tube amps for music and volume has never been an issue. YMMV.

    Thanks, Edo.

I'm interested in this unit, as I love tubes, but I just want to figure out how it would work in my current set up.

I appreciate your time, as well as that of others who might help.

If I cranked my yaqin up to 75 % it would sound louder and clearer than my emotiva 125 watt amp at 90 %

Like PFB says, volume wise the amp has more than enough juice. I listened to a couple of CD's yesterday and the volume knob never got past 45%.
