Monitor 7 placement

I have my 7's on some oak stands I picked up about 9 inches tall with a little bit of tilt on them.
I think that I will have to add a little bit more tilt because they are almost flat.
Anyhow, I have been playing with them and placement since I refurbed the cabs and crossovers.
For you guys with 7's or 10's for that matter, how do you have them placed?
I am curious to what works for different people and their opinions.
Thanks

I have it on top of another 2 feet high speaker.
Works well and don't need tilting as it's high enough.

I have mine on original Polk stands. I did post the specs and such in another post in the vintage section. However, I wouldn't know where to start looking for it. I'm not computer savvy enough to post a link for it anyway.
FWIW these stands work really well, I think anyway...Remember, when you're running from something, you're running to something...-me -
Here is a link for the original stands.

I tried it a couple of times. It's the simple things that escape me, I suppose, especially what I was trying to copy and paste...Remember, when you're running from something, you're running to something...-me
