I know this is in the Movies forum as well, but I think more people check out the Clubhouse area.
Walking Dead season 3 starts this Sunday, October 14 at 9 EST.
Can't wait!

Almost done watching the 2nd season on Netflix, just finished watching part 11. It really feels like the directors had no idea where to take the series for the last few parts. The plot got very weak and predictable too. I guess I still have two more parts to watch, but I really had my hopes up after the first season.Panasonic PT-AE4000U projector for movies

I have been riveted to the show for both seasons; I cannot wait for season 3. Some of the plotlines were annoying and filler, but at least added to the show. Kind of reminded me about the show 24 when Jack Bauer's daughter was being tracked by a mountain lion for 3 episodes!!!! Anyone else watch the Webisodes on the AMC website? They're great too.Shawn

I like the show. Just finished the second season on Netflix, but I wanted to hang myself after the few episodes... SLOW! But it did get better.
It's such a stark contrast to the comics that are fairly fast paced. You get spoiled. -

Oh yes, definitely looking forward to the new season! Watched the first two roughly when they aired, then rewatched them again with friends over the last few weeks.George Grand wrote: »

Tried recording The Walking Dead last night through my new Xfinity cable box I got.(Xfinity or Comcast is making everyone turn in the Motorola boxes). Apparently, AMC isn't allowing anyone to record this channel anymore due to some kind of copy write issue? WTH??? I guess they expect everyone to not be able to dvr or record it?

I don't think so. I recorded it via my DirecTV DVR without any issue.Gears shared to both living room & bedroom:

Thanks for the replys guys, I'm trying to record it with a dvd recorder , maybe that's the deal. A DVR as you mention, is that like a Tivo componant?

Are you saying you tried to record the show to a DVD? If that's the case then it's completely different to my DirecTV DVR which records programs to its internal hard drive. It's like a Tivo, and in fact, DirecTV nowadays has a Tivo in its DVR lineup.Gears shared to both living room & bedroom:

Thanks DMara,I appreciate the help man, that's got to be it, if I had a DVR with the hard drive, I could record The Walking Dead episodes and watch them later. Actually went through my channels last night and find 2 or 3 others ones that I can't record to dvd. Sorry to get so far off topic, I did__ watch TWD Sunday night and thoroughly enjoyed it:). I miss Andrea with the rest of the group and look forward to everyone kicking major zombie **** this season:cheesygrin:
