im thinking of puting my rm8's on my top rear wall with these brackets http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10828&cs_id=1082804&p_id=6839&seq=1&format=2 + the wall mounts that come with my rm8's . Question is would this be safe or would the bracket break and drop my speaker

Those brackets will support 33lbs. What do your speakers weigh?

    Nakamichi EC100 Active xover
    MIT exp 1 ic's
    Perreaux SA33 class A preamp
    AQ kingcobra ic's
    OPPO 83 CDP
Lehmann audio black cube SE phono pre, Audioquest phono wire (ITA1/1)
Denon DP-1200 TT. AToc9ML MC cart.
    Monster HTS 3600 power conditioner

If those brackets support that they should have NO problem with a few pound speaker like an RM8 satellite, except for perhaps its odd shape? Those Polks weigh almost nothing and present no real structural support problems for most brackets? Just about "any" bracket would support that weight!

I see what you're saying. Do you have the RM8s and are wondering if they'll "fit" the monoprice brackets (slots, screw, etc.)? Because I wouldn't know without seeing both pieces next to each other.
