Keep it or sell it?

I need to decide if I am going to sell my PSW202. I will shortly be getting a new Paradigm subwoofer (PW 2200, PW 2100, PS 1200, PS 1000), not sure which one yet. My room is 20' x 13' x 7'. Should I keep the PSW202 and stick it in the corner closet to my seating area (rear-right) and have the Paradigm in the other corner near my towers (forward-right)?

What do you think, keep it or sell it?

I would keep it, and use it somewhere else....computer perhaps.

The Paradigm would probably be very angry if you team him up with that lil' guy :D The use of two subs in opposite areas has been mentioned as very problematic. Is that even a word? lol
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

It is a word. Anyway, Glemay try stacking them when you get the Paradigm. I also have a psw202 and I tried stacking it onto my DIY Tempest. I like it this way for movies but unplug it for music. Try it and see how you like it, you can always sell it later.

    dorokusai,

My computer is in my room and I don't play very many games. And if I need some music I just turn my system on. Why would it cause a problem?

    gatemplin,

Here the thing, the sub is brand new, never opened. My old PSW202 quit on me so Future Shop exchaged it. The PSW202 originally went out for repair but Future Shop screwed up the paper work. So 2 weeks later it was sent back with nothing done to it.

Now I can sell it to my friend for $250 CDN if it is new but if I open it he will only offer $200 CDN. (Future Shop wants $402.49 CDN with TAXES). Plus I also have the 9-year extended warranty.

What should I do, keep it for myself and take advantage of the warranty since I paid extra for it if I ever need it?

In that case I would sell it. You will not notice a big difference in having it, at least I dont. Count your losses. Your friend is still getting a good deal and you can put the money towards the Paradigm. Just my two cents.

That's what I was thinking, but you also sort of hate to sell it.
