What's the issue here?
Are you upset that they put the hurt on your bulldogs, or did you have a real complaint like Spurrier kicking the other coach in the nuts or something??? -
Awful performance. 4 and 5 star recruits everywhere and it seems they consistently lay an egg at least twice a year every season. It's time for some coaches to go.

I can take being beaten by a better team.
Trust me, 46 years of being an atlanta sports fan will do that.
But that guy is about as classless as many of todays athletes, i just remember when coaches kinda took responsibility for keeping things classy, and in college, leading by example.
I would much rather have the class and morals of a Mark Richt leading players with the G on the side of their helmet, but hes in the minority, and we all know that.humpty dumpty was pushed -
Really? I don't know the Bulldogs' coach's class and moral, but one thing for sure is his players have been playing like a bunch of undisciplined dumb @sses during the last couple years. Stupid penalties, juvenile celebration, you name it. They deserve to lose, and there's no way they can hang with other SEC teams.Gears shared to both living room & bedroom:

They are( for the most part), undisciplined dumb asses, they are young american male athletes.
We speak often here about not only the public schools, but the lack of parenting in our country.
Add in the sense of priviledge, and the actual priviledge given to standout athletes in schools, this is what you get.
NOW, having said that, there are few if any, coaches in any division who have tried as hard to juggle the pressure to win from the rich powerful alumni and boosters with his own strong christian beliefs.
Before this game, spurrier said the old schedule where Ga and S.C played in sept. was better for him because you could count on several of our top players being suspended.
This year was no exception, 4 of our top players were suspended for team infractions, I cant remember spurriers record on having players missing games for behavior,
but i do know we have multiple every year.
I can live with that and be proud of our team and school, but for the head coach of the opponents to always have some little childish comment, especially about the development of the young men in your charge, as opposed to Xs and Os, pretty childish and classless.
Also, he rarely runs his mouth when he knows his team isnt a pretty good bet to win.
Dmara, was your post after or before the Texas/West Virginia game?
Or are you a fan of the first year SEC aggies?
just wonderin, cause i am agreein with you about us playing our share of dumbasses, just like everyone else in sports.humpty dumpty was pushed -
I've never been a college football fan, I prefer watching the NFL, so I could care less about the Longhorns or the Aggies
I'm sorry but I don't buy your argument. The Bulldogs' stupid penalties on the field killed them, and I can't say the same thing about other top teams. If you're a great football coach, either you win with the players you got or at least you should be able to guide the young minds to the righteous way. Allowing his team to commit stupid mistakes time and time again really makes Richt look extremely bad.Gears shared to both living room & bedroom:

I'm a huge Dawg fan as my wife and son are alumni but it's painfully obvious that Richt and his staff are consistently outcoached by the so called elite coaches. Just witness the first two Carolina drives where the defense looked completely unprepared and lost. It's as if there was no gameplan implemented, and Defensive Coordinator Grantham just used the go and out athlete them gameplan. Hint to DC Grantham, yelling at your players after the fact on the sideline just makes you look like a buffoon. OC Honey Bobo was as usual predictable with his play calling and Richt always looks detached from the sidelines and his post game demeanor after a loss irks the hell out of me.
Given the abysmal record against top 25 teams I believe a complete overhaul of the coaching staff is in order. I was very impressed with Chris Petersen and his staff from Boise State and their total annihilation of the Dawgs last season and would love to see what he could do with the talent at UGA. It's extremely disappointing losing every big game we play year in and year out and I believe drastic measures need to be taken. -
I've been calling for Richt's head for at least 3 or 4 years. He is by no means an elite coach. His teams have always had discipline problem and the consistently under-perform when in the spotlight. They gave him an extension and a pay raise after 2007, but I don't think he deserved either. Then they did the same again this year. I really wish they would see that Richt is holding Georgia back from greatness. For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

I don't get people being that emotional over a sports team.
Don't get me wrong, I like sports. Love the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics....but I've never let my **** get in a wringer over them winning or losing. Sure, I'll **** or celebrate...but it's very short lived.
