After 15 years, this collection of misfits, castoffs and non superstars just keep getting it done. It's one of the most improbable runs i've seen in sports in a long time. Last night we helped Texas complete their epic collapse and now host the first two games in the Divisional Playoffs here at home in Camden Yards against non other than the Yankees.
Call it luck or call it whatever you want...but this is fun and I'll take it!

Agreed 100%! The cartoon bird IS the O's! That infernal realistic bird mess they went with took away the heart and soul of who the O's were and are.
They're back and hopefully for many seasons to come.No excuses! -
...as an erstwhile Baltimoron (born & bred), I am fine with them O's, hon. I remember the "Roar from Section Thirty-Four" days... "Come on Ken, hit it in the bullpen!", usw.
Plus it's a little hard to root for the Red Sox this year :-P -

Watched the game last night after a long time (couple of years) and enjoyed it. Had to go to bed early so missed the final score. Disappointed that they lost but they were hanging tough with the Yanks until top of the 6th when I went to bed.

That's why you never slide into first.
I played for many many years. Every coach I ever had told us to never slide into first. You loss momentum anyway. It's the only base that you can keep running after you touch the base. Tex.....you chose unwisley. -
