Have a guy selling a pair locally
I am awaiting a response and some pictures before I go and even look at them

He claims that there are no stands and one speaker has static when played and the sock on one is not in good shape

I know there are a few guys on here that own and love theses speakers.

I have done a bunch of reading about what to look for on these speakers.

What else do you all have for suggestions?

The guy is asking $100, but I believe I can get him lower because of possible condition.

Thanks

Be careful $100 is a very good price

I would say something like, can you help me a little on the price, restoration is expensive.

Possible conditions? Seems to me they are a mess.

I did speak to the guy and they sound like a mess, he said that none of the wiring has come unglued he feels that the static is coming from the crossover
Either way they sound like alittle more than want for a project right now, plus no stands either

I need to focus on getting my 1B's in order first
