I really wish we had a Fry's somewhere near St. Louis.

I went to the one near Seattle two weekends ago with my brother. Got him a pioneer receiver to power a set of blackstone TL150's and got all the mounting hardware for his walls. They matched every price I threw at them for the speakers and receiver and ended up walking out the door with a really nice little set for my brother to get into the game with. Very impressed with their store, now we just need one here in Denver.

I stopped shopping at Fry's several months back for a few reasons:
1 - They pull some sneaky stuff on their price matching policy, and most recently would not price match Micro Center on an Intel CPU that they were cheaper on by about $150 because they said Micro Center is not an authorized dealer. I later confirm with both Micro Center and Intel that MC is in fact an authorized dealer.
2 - The bigger issue I have is how they basically treat you like a criminal anytime you purchase something and are leaving the store, and don't even get me started about their return procedure.
They have great prices, don't get me wrong, but I've personally decided to add them right next to Wal-Mart on the list of people that I won't do business with, and both largely for philosophical reasons. -
I was at my local Fry's this weekend just staring at those speakers as I imagined all of the multiple eargasms they would give me. But, for me it would be a matter of buying those speakers plus an amp and not to mention a center channel to match them. So, it wasn't happening.Denon X7200WA
