    I called him on these for you after your PM, he said there is contact paper on the speakers, I then asked him what kind of condition the drivers/woofers are in and said there is some contact paper on them as well but does not affect the sound and work great..

    Humm contact paper on the woofers and they work great?? I'm afraid to look at them.. LOL!

    I think for the price it would be worth it just for the cabs. Dan and I had a 45 minute conversation for the second time in a week, can I get any of that back? I've only heard three of the SDA models, and I'm still stuck on the CRS's, for the price, these are worth the restoration. Good luck Dan, this may be the last purchase before your broke for a looooooong time.. :wink:

    I've always wanted to go to Denver, but not that bad sorry Dan...

    Seriously even with contact paper if they work at all I'd get them for $70-80. But then you have to ship to Indy. Buy replacement woofer possibly, get the new tweets, gimpod's boards, larry's rings, dynamat, armacell, spikes, veneer, blood sweat and tears....offer him $100 shipped and go from there.

    Thanks Larry, yeah they looked to be in rough shape from the pics but I had hopes.... Thanks for calling him for me. I appreciate it.

    Yeah in addition to shipping, not having the SDA cable and not really knowing the condition of the woofers that had me a little bit worried. That and if the cabinet was the vinyl or wood veneer.
