I love my anthem avm40 as its just fantastic and after I scored an anthem mca 5 channel amp I loved the huge improvement. The new amp made my avm sound way better than I imagined it could ever sound so today I had the opportunity to buy one and got all shaky and just made a decision without the wife lol. She might be pissed but sometimes you just have to put the big boy pants on and go with what you love

Great Find. Congrats. Hope the wife does not be mad at you. I am currently looking at processors to replace my Denon 4311. I have been looking at Anthem, Integra, and waiting on the Marantz AV8801 that is supposed to be released later this year. I am hoping that last one is a winner.

Its getting there, I think this hobby (and CP)is awesome. It's a little like rock climbing where you keep scaling mount nirvana and getting closer to the summit each time. Its just been a good day for me, a contractor stopped by my apartment today and was offering me work provided I get better insurance so I dont have any fears about working through winter. To put some icing on the cake my sony 790 bluray player just got here

Extra insurance will probably come in handy when the wife finds out what you just bought. LOL.

Nice system you put together. Glad you put your big boy pants on. I can't imagine having to ask everytime I wanted to spend my hard earned money.

Are they sending out ladyboys to help you set it up? Bending over in skinny jeans to plug everything in must really suck.

Reminds of a quote by Winston Churchill:

"Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb."

    Congrats!

I have a D1, so I am familiar with the general set-up. I just won't be much help on the video side of things.
