My home theater system consist of 4 x LSi9 and one LSi Center channel. My NAD receiver died. I am thinking of getting the RX-V571 receiver because it has AirPlay capabilities. The Specs of the receiver are in the link below. I understand the LSi are tricky speakers to power. Would this receiver be ok? I would appreciate your advice on this.

the yamaha AVR is going to die very soon too if you hook up all of these speakers up. I don't think it's rated with 4ohms at all.

You'll need an external amp to run that setup.

Lsi's are not tricky.....you need an amp to power a full surround set and no entry level to mid level receiver alone is going to do that.HT SYSTEM-

As everyone had said, you are essentially buying a receiver to destroy it. On top of that, you may blow some tweeters, which are perhaps the most expensive components of the lsis to replace. Step up to the yamaha 6xx series with preout and then get at least a 3 channel amp.

Thanks for the replies. The 4ohms feature is what I refereed to tricky.
Any suggestions then? I don't play my speakers too loud but appreciate nice sound coming out of them. Would be nice if the receiver has AirPlay capability.
Thanks once more. -
you should buy the cheapest avr with preouts and features you want (airplay), then put the rest of the $ into (used) amps.

If you are trying to get the same features for less, I would suggest just getting a slightly older receiver that you like with preouts, and then adding an apple tv to the mix for 100 bucks to take care of airplay. That will be cheaper overall than trying to get a receiver with both airplay and preouts, and those start at about 600 bones.Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es
