Purchased a new strut tower brace for my Camaro from BMR with the intension of modding it. I cut off the BMR logo plate, and smoothed out the welds that they had on it. Cut a new plate with the Camaro SS/RS logo and welded it in place and smoothed out the welds there as well. I lowered it into the tube area to give it a better look..

Can't wait to get it back from paint and installed..

Really cleaned up and personalized a nice modification to your new ride. I love the design of the new Camaro's, I had a '68 back in the day that I used to modify like crazy.

Excellent fabrication skills. If those welds have not been sanded down your welding skills are absolutely amazing.

Thanks guys!! I'm digging it so far, I'm almost done getting it ready for paint.

You have to drop your struts to do the install, and one of the things I don't like about it is if you ever have to take it off to get to the top of the motor for what ever reason you have to drop the struts again to take it off. Well I don't like that so I made some RINGS ( go figure huh? LOL!!) to fit under the strut tower that I will fixture into place. If I need to take it off I want to be able to do so from the top..

Very nice! I just added a tower to mine about a month ago. I found that it helped quite a bit - but that could just be me. lol

Disagree. I think the OEM ones have a nice, stock look.
