Nice looking preamp there. I like the balanced inputs/outputs feature.

This is an excellent preamp. For those who don't know, this preamp combines the smooth musicality of a Dodd Battery powered pre and the bass authority and neutrality of a BAT VK 3ix SE. The unit itself is a passive hybrid which stays passive unless you are getting really crazy and your volume demands need an extra kick. This is one of my all time favorite pres. For the money, it is hard to beat. It says quite a bit that people often compare this pre-amp to the Esoteric C-03 Passive Preamp which costs a "bazillion" more. This pre is built tough as nails and has a very smart remote interface. Good luck on the sale.

    Both of mine would agree.

Here are some reviews: http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/wyred2/preamp.html and http://www.affordableaudio.org/aa2009-10.pdf

You can't do any better without spending over $5K.

Bold statement there Face, one of which I tend to disagree but thats for another thread.

Good luck with the sale to the OP, and yes it is a fine preamp indeed.

I'm interested. It will replace a PS Audio GCP.

The PS Audio GCP was made by Cullen Circuits, same guys who founded Wyred4Sound. The STP SE will be a step up from the GCP for sure.

This pre-amp has become the mainstay of my 2-channel system after trying quite a few alternatives. Its output is quite warm but not laid back at all. Highly recommended!!!

SOLD - I switched to using my Wyred DAC-2 as a pre-amp and it doesn't come close to the STP-SE.
