What vibration isolation upgrades can be done to amps and components on the cheap? Is there any recommendations you care to share

I use Vibrapods and IsoNodes.

You wil have to determine on your own if these are "cheap" enough for your budget.

These work just fine and don't cost an arm and a leg to get. There are other places you can get them as well. -
I've been into BSA, Bright Star Audio for over 6+ years. They have all kinds of isolation components to handle all kinds of theory and application. I never leave home or go to a show without them.
I'll echo Herbie's for tubes and aside from that company, it's all I use. No Mapleshade here. You can find BSA on Audiogon from time to time.
BSA is who makes Iso-Nodes. They are far less gooey than the AQ feet but will compress in the same idea, just without residue. You have to pay attention to the load rating as they will flatten if you go higher than they say. Honestly, I'd play it safe and keep them more solid then decoupled as I prefer them to be almost completely rigid, with a small amount of flex and compression.
I'd suggest the Iso-Pad, by Cstmar01 for heavy components only. It's basically just a heavy equipment isolator for AC and HVAC equipment, just prettier. DAGLJAM turned us onto these from his employer back in Polkfest 2006 or 2007. I have a whole box of them, there great and I use them all the time. The commercial version is all rubber/durometer with no cork but I've never found or heard any sonic difference.
MarkCTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -

+1 on the Isolpads.
Another one of those tweak items where people can go overboard and spend way to much for minimal benefit.
