SDA 2 (tweeter cutting off)

Can I expect the same when and if I upgrade the tweeters???

    need more info. Have you checked wiring connections? Anything loose? Could be a bad polyswitch on the crossover? Under what conditions does the tweeter cut out? High volumne, random times, ect...

    yes at high volumes the left side cuts out and when I turn it down it comes back to life.

    how loud is that? :surprised: If it's earth shaking... picture... breakin... wall crackin.. then the polyswitch is doing it's job. But keep it up then you can blow your tweeters, I did:redface:

    hope not to blow them. No earth shaking like my RT2000i's can do, but I do like some volume. I will probably see if someone will walk me through the replacing the polyswitch out and replacing these tweeters at the same time. Thanks.

    Switch them out a see if the right side cuts out. You were going to buy newer ones anyway, now you have an excuse:smile:
