    Yes...

Because it's a reference system that has few equals.

I thought I am going to get it but someone offered him for $3500. I am very upset because that is only like one block from my home
    and I should'nt pay for shipping:mad:

What do you think for selling value for the RTA 11TL in perfect
condition? Also how do you compare it to the LSi's or to the SDA's TL version too? any thoughts...

Then offer him $3500 and point out that he won't have to deal with the pain in the ****$ of packing and shipping them. Sell your present speakers later to offset the extra cost. This system retailed for like $10 or $12 thousand just a couple of years ago. Even at $3500, it's a no-brainer, providing they are in good shape. Hell, even the RT5000 system would almost be worth that, let alone the full on SRT!

Well of course someone offered him $3500. Like someone else said, find a way to offset the cost. I heard a partial system at Polk. They are AWESOME!

is it the full SRT system? or just the stereo pair??

if its the entire SRT surroudn system, yes it would be a no-brainer even at $3500..

The SRT compared to the LSi's? There is no comparison.....none.

The SRT compared to the SDA 1.2TL/2.3TL, well I believe things are closer. The SRT has more bass and is capable of higher SPL's, but both use the SDA technology and IMO sound similar.

RTA11TL's in perfect condition usually go for $250-$300 on eBay. Of course, if you want to sell them, let me know.
