...it is made by the same company:twisted:

I bought this a couple of months ago, and this is the 1st chance I've had to get some decent pics of it. I dropped $800 today upgrading the stock tires(Hankooks) to Michelin MXV4 Primacy's. Noticeable improvement! I can now hear the engine over the road noise, and I don't feel EVERY nook and cranny in the road surface.

I've been driving domestics my whole life, and this is my 1st foray into foreign. Guess what? I aint going back!
For 4+ years, I've been watching Top Gear, and could not get what Clarkson was blathering on about. Now I do.

Besides the increase in fuel economy(no it's not the TDI) over my 10 year old S10, an added bonus is, this GERMAN car was made in the US, at a very green plant:loneranger:

Very, very nice! Although with all that cream, it's going to be very difficult to keep it looking clean!

What do you plan to use to clean the interior?

Right now, I'm using Armorall detailing wipes. When I get back to the dealer for a check up, I'll ask what they recommend.
Luckily, this is a part time vehicle, so not too much wear and tear. Because it's brand a new model('12), they don't have any aftermarket seat covers for it yet.

Hello, obieone. Nice ride. There's nothing like German engineering. Scottinwa, thanks for posting that video. I just ordered the album. Man, it's been some time since I heard that tune.

My little Fiesta came from Ford with Hankook tires; I am eagerly awaiting their demise to put better tires on it. That said, I saw a Corvette on my commute home Friday with Hankook tires on it; what's the deal with that?

Try "Meguiars". There are some weird conspiracy theories out there that Armor all causes cracking with extended use.

Well I've been using Armorall on my 1995 Toyota pickup since the day I bought it - it looks practically brand new still - and there ain't no cracks - and I park in my driveway exposed to beating sun.

I LOVE my Jetta and its much better than the Honda I used to have. I am very looking forward to getting either a Tiburon or Tourega in the next few years. I have the tan/cream interior and it is indeed a PITA to keep clean.

After 12 years though I have kinda given up on trying to a point lol. I have had the car 6+ and haven't had just about ANY problems with the car overall. Meanwhile my wifes Malibu which is a 06 has had a ridiculous amount of stuff go wrong with it lol..

My wife is planning on getting a Jetta or Passat when her crappy Malibu finally gives up and dies.......

My sweetie has a '08 Tiburon (Last year for them) and it's been a damn good, solid car over the past year she has owned it. However, if you're taller then 6'4" like me, you may be quite uncomfortable. I have to stretch my legs every 90 mins while driving long trips.

Wait, you're comparing a flagship model from Volkswagen that is a brand new to an economy sized pickup truck that is over a decade old and now you "ain't goin' back"?

I meant to say tiguan. A tibiron would be bad for me as I too am over 6 foot.

I like that you did not allow the dealer to drill holes into the front bumper for the front license plate.

Same here with the new Mustang. Not going to unless forced to by the Fuzz.
