WHAT A PERFORMANCE!

Eagles fans....This (IMO) is the best showcase of the eagles music period. The live performance in Melborne, Australia is stellar! The production quality (sound and video) are top notch. I like it BETTER than anything done before, especially before HFO. It's great to hear classic and post 2000 eagles tunes done so well and sounding so good. If you like the eagles and don't have this...get it NOW! I am going to melt the discs from overplay.

I absolutely agree with you on this review! I prefer this show way over the hell freezes over tour. When I loan it out, it is tough to get back.

I have it on bluray and put in it fairly often even if just for the music. I shrunk it to DVD so i can play it on one of my 2 channel systems that has a DVD/CD player. The video is unwatchable if you try to watch it, but the sound is fine.

The sax just MELTS me! "In the city" just gives me goosebumps, as does the luxurious and masterful eagles harmonies. I never heard "hole in the world" because unfortunately, 2003-2009 was a black hole in the middle east for me. I missed a lot. "Hole in the world" is just awesome!

I just got the Hell Freezes Over DVD a few weeks back and love it. The 5.1 DTS mix is amazing. If the consensus is this one is better than HFO, I may have to pick this up.
    My humble setup...

    ...is no more.
