What Speakers Are These??

If anyone knows?? Looks like the same tweeters in my SDA 2B's?????:confused:

    Monitor 5jrs. It is very likely the same tweeter.

    Ironic: I posted a pic from the polk site, but it looks like the monitor 5 with the larger passive radiator. IIRC, the 5jr had the smaller passive radiator like 6.5"? The 5 had a larger "fluid coupled subwoofer" aka PR. I never saw a 5jr+ in person.

    The picture on the Polk website for the 5jr is indeed a 5.

    The 5jrs were my first Polks (and my first real speakers), so I will always have a soft spot for them.

    I remember the 80's polk "white paper" type ad (I think it was a monitor or RTA) that showed they could coherently acoustically reproduce a recognizable square wave. This was a BIG deal, because most consumer speakers back then were so colored and flawed. Polks were like stealing your way into high end. Incidentally, polk were less colored than very expensive Infinity speakers that used the white poly woofers.
