Speaker placement help needed
Currently my desk is an array of computer monitors and the only space i have for some book shelf speakers is if i wall mount them above the monitors. I would have to point them down at a 20 deg angle to properly aim them. Is this ok? I was looking at the pinpoint am40's but they only do 7 degs.
The other option i have is to rotate the towers off the desk and have a pretty wide stage for the two speakers. With this setup they would be ear level.
Which of the two would be better?

Mounting them on the wall above the monitors would be fine. You could also consider a speaker like the JBL L820 which is fairly flat and meant to be hung on a wall.

I prefer a wide sound stage, so I would got for that option. I have found my Behringer speakers great for computer duty, so good luck with the placement.
