Can I retro fit a better power cord to my Adcom GFA 545II ?
Would it be worth it to even do it?
Thanks

Absolutely. It's a very common modification.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

How would I go about doing it?

Can you solder and use a Dremel with a metal cutting blade? This is not a project for amateurs but not a project that requires an engineering degree. You should source the schematic for that amplifier or pop the top and start getting familiar with the inside.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. +1, are you going to install an IEC where the stock power cord went?
If I can do it, well... you get the idea LOL

It is worth the time and effort too, and will allow you to try a bunch of different PCs.So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?
