Can I retro fit a better power cord to my Adcom GFA 545II ?

Would it be worth it to even do it?

Thanks

Absolutely. It's a very common modification.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Can you solder and use a Dremel with a metal cutting blade? This is not a project for amateurs but not a project that requires an engineering degree. You should source the schematic for that amplifier or pop the top and start getting familiar with the inside.

+1, are you going to install an IEC where the stock power cord went?
If I can do it, well... you get the idea LOL

It is worth the time and effort too, and will allow you to try a bunch of different PCs.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?
