Fellow Polkies,

I know this is off-brand but I thought I'd start here....

I'm restoring a pair of KLH Model 6 speakers. They were very muddy sounding when I got them, which I chalked up to worn caps. Now that I've recapped both speakers I realize that one of the speakers has a dead tweeter.

Does anyone have a spare KLH Model 6 tweeter they're willing to part with?

Many thanks in advance,

G

    Thanks!

I ended up finding another tweeter from someone else on the Polk Forum but by the time it got to me it had developed a buzz. I eventually replaced both tweeters in the pair with replacement phenolic ring tweeters from Parts Express. They now sound great.
