I started a thread about the posting rules here, we had a very civil discussion going on and then some over-zealous admin closed it.
Why? Can we only discuss music you are listening to and facebook friends here?
Wow, what a forum!

There has been many threads just like your's and.... you could have participated and posted in it lol
Dude the rules are the rules and it is not a democracy so just follow them instead of crying about having to post 100 times as its getting kinda lame now -
Sorry it's my first day here. I am in the market right now for some speakers, I don't feel like waiting 3 months to post 100 comments about butt-chugging or whatever.
I'm really shocked that Polk would want a forum like this associated with their company.
- Plus, I did keep commenting that I like to read threads and get my answers, not post stupid questions that have already been answered. So just because there are other threads about this, aren;t they telling me to post abut it anyways and get my 100 posts in? -
Hey Dan,
The problem with the flea market was new guys were coming here to just post their gear for sale. That is just not what our forum is for.
I do understand your frustrations. I would maybe look at this like you are at a party getting your groove on and people, different people keep playing the same exact song over and over, with perhaps the ocassional different tune in between but eventually the 15th different person puts on that same ol song about 2 hours into the party and the guy hosting the party just walks over to the guy and punches him in the face. It is nothing the guy did, he just happened to be the one that tipped the ice berg on the subject at hand that led to the crack down.
Odd way of explaining the issue at hand but hopefully that makes sense.
Enjoy the Polk forum, it truly is a great message board.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
why ask why?

Dan, the fact you just said you don't feel like waiting and putting in the time to hang out and enjoy our forum....just get into the FM speaks volumes. Why would it have anything to do with you being a newbie, lol, that's just crazy since we just had 100 newbies join in the last 2 weeks....you're really reaching here.
This forum is thriving...THRIVING since CAF 2012, Polkfest 2012 and the new product line. What on earth is your issue that you cannot find something to talk about here amongst the THOUSANDS of threads available here for your searching and reading pleasure. I'm closing this thread based on that alone.
You wouldn't do anything but stay here, get to 100 and then never return if history serves me correctly. It wasn't really until this month that this even became an issue, for whatever reason. This topic isn't worth 100 posts....sorta like a cable debate. And what's wrong with a buttmunch debate? We do have a sense of humor here....a real human being based dynamic....like ppl actually interacting and talking with their fingers. It's super neat man.
Seriously man, you need to not resort to insulting the forum when it looked like it should have been pretty clear another thread about that 100 post thing wasn't needed. I stated in one of these types of threads that it's just not going to start being the topic of discussion here and this isn't going to be any different. Sorry man, you should just hang out and realize that 100 posts is NOT THAT MUCH, even for a new Polkie.
Here's a couple examples of new Polkies jumping in with both feet, especially Bartz(4 posts) with a killer response to a speaker question.
