I've the 2 set and need to sell one because of space issue. they're almost the same in term of # of drivers, except the 1Cs have 1 more tweeter and all are RDO94. Both have the same physical size too. Monitor 12 Series 2 are 100% stock.
Both are in good working condition. Which one would you keep?

Monitor 12's were probably the closest thing to a party speaker Polk ever made. For my own part, the 1C's would win hands down. Just depends on what you want out of your speakers. Accuracy or rocking out.

I agree. I have the Monitor 12 series 2 and the SDA 1C's. Both are good speakers but the 1C's are overall much better due to the SDA effect. The stock monitor 12 series 2's actually have better tweets using the SL2500 tweet with the replacement being the RDO 198's. Both speakers have there good points but in the end 1C's have a better overall sound to them.

I will sell my 1C for sure if I can get bigger SDA speakers :)

I was surprised that people still pay that much for old polk M12 ii . I would get Lsi7/9 if i were them for just a little more .
