Here is a link to the manufacture page:

    http://www.audio-gd.com/Pro/Headphoneamp/NFB11.32/NFB11.32EN.htm

Audio GD is ROCK SOLID STUFF. I am LOVING my NFB-5

    These are the stock photos

Attachment not found.Attachment not found.Attachment not found.

Folks note that his has a fixed and variable output. You can use this as a pre-amp with no remote if your using more of a desktop setup.

I think that adds quite a bit of value for someone starting out.

Is this the same one you were posting about over on Head-Fi? I assume you got it working? I never saw a followup in that thread where you were having driver issues, and am curious what you did to finally get it working.

Yes....the problem was in my computer....I had a trojan or a virus in the setup.exe file.....Avast and malewarebytes could not find it.I finally downloaded Spybot and this worked to delete it.It then extracted with winRAR.I have Vista, can't wait to save up and get Windows 7.......or a Mac(lol).

How good is the headphone amp in this model, or have you tried that yet? I'm definitely interested, just curious what you can tell me about the sound

I was surprised how good it was....It wasn't even a feature that made me buy the Dac.it has both variable and fixed outputs.I was using it to drive my AKG 701's(now sold:sad:)....The soundstage was terrific, must be that ES 9018 Dac.
To play the phones really loud,I had the volume at about 10 O'Clock...very open and airy....peter

Sorry about that, let's try it again. I'm doing an experiment today where I'm ONLY carrying the Android phone and the forum is acting weird for me. If you don't get this one post here and I'll get to a computer later in the morning.

This is all a little wonky. I sure would have gleened that AsSiMiLaTeD was a serious buyer and probably just PM'd him..just sayin.

All he had to say is "I'll take it"...i didn't need a pm.I got a pm at 12:57 am,last nite, from your neighbor,Dmara, saying he wanted to purchase this at the stated price.....I went to bed and posted a question to Assimilated in the morning.I still never got a pm from him......I then pm'd Vu telling him that the Dac was his.

I didn't care who bought this,i was just trying to sell this as soon as possible......Dmara sent his pm at 12:57 am and sent me $300....I think this went awry because Dmara didn't post a reply in the thread,he just sent a pm.
    I'm sorry,but I can't be a mind reader.....Peter

Yep, I sent a late night PM asking Peter to put me in line for this item since I'm pretty familiar with audio-gd products. Got a go-ahead reply from him after noon, so I sent my payment at 1PM. By the way, I'm only using a Blackberry

This is why I always like to do things out in the open vs only PM, and is why I always post in the thread first and then PM. In this case the PM apparently didn't go through or didn't go through fast enough, not sure which. I should have been more clear and said "I want it" I suppose, so that's on me for not being more clear.

I realize posting in the thread is not required, but it's nice to always have everything out in the open so there's no confusion.

Oh well, maybe next time. No hard feelings.

Thank you,and again,I'm sorry....If only Dmara had posted in the thread, this would not have gotten f'upd.I was trying to run 4 separate auctions and the Akg 701's,the blu rays, dvd's and the 11.32 Dac,all sold much quicker than i anticipated.....I'm exhausted and didn't mean to slight anyone. You,and all the polkies, here, are all superior people,in my book......peter

Sorry I didn't know I need to post in this thread besides sending a PM. I've always sent a PM asking sellers to put me in line and have never had any problem previously. Sellers here have always been fair in reserving the products to potential buyers, and obviously in this case my PM was the only PM received by Peter. Really confused since AsSiMiLaTeD said he would send a PM, twice, and the seller didn't receive any! If AsSiMiLaTeD really wants this DAC, I'm willing to take my money back and let him have it. The only reason why I'd like to acquire it is to compare it to the other 2 audio-gd items I own, I don't need it that bad.

No guys, there's no need to send any money back or undo anything. The deal is done and there are no hard feelings here, my initial reply was one of genuine surprise not one of anger.

As for PMs not being received, just to clear that up I didn't just say I would send a PM and not follow up, I actually SENT them (or so I thought) - I indicated the problem I was having and said ping me back if you don't get my PM, but by then the deal had already been completed so that was a moot point. Among other issues, I'm having finicky forum behavior on the Android phone and didn't have my iPhone on me today and didn't get to a computer until this afternoon.

No big deal, glad you guys got a deal worked out. I wouldn't use this isolated incident to set a precedent here, but I've always found it best if the initial contact on a sale is made in the thread itself. Again, that's my opinion and is not in the rules, so I have nothing to complain about here.

Sorry, I interjected. Both are first-rate, good guys.

I have actually done business with both of them..even met Vu's mother about 2 years ago.
