As I continue to torture Trey with trivial/misc. BS!
I thought I would ask if any of you have a kitchen "system"?

I love mine, nothing really killer like alot of you have I am sure, but I love it!
Music flows into the cooking!

No kitchen system for me. I've have less than six feet of counter space. The over sized range has more surface area than I have counter space. Virtually untouched 1946 kitchen...

Although the living room is a straight shot from the kitchen door so at least I can get tunes that way.

The Klipsch KG 1.5's have "internal" anchors, they hang "tweeter down".
Really a crazy good sounding speaker when "flown" upside down!

You could link a cheap digital "avr" via "toslink".
    Same stereo x 2!!
Provided your pre can send it.
    I've done it many times.

1- pair of NHT Zereo's would change your mind (hang them from the ceiling, very small, impressive speakers)!
Use the cheapest "avr" available, beats nothing and adds some "spice" I assure you!

well, seeing it normally only takes me 5 minutes at my microwave I figure that only 1 song at a time wouldn't be worth it.

I almost put my A9's in my kitchen when I couldn't sell them. Talk about overkill.

I would perfer to put a system in my bathroom to listen to music and shower. hehe

I like/love to cook (no microwave).
That said I cook a large amount of food and my neighbors come over and drink/eat.
Pretty sure Chris you can guess where we end up.
    Not the "microwave", LOL!

"Grill" my friend, with kitchen just an "open" doorway, away.

Drinking some "Tarantula" Azul at the moment, and do not even have the "Main system" fired up.
    All about the music!
My deck is straight off the kitchen.

Chris, I know you have been taught the "Tequila" rules....."Don't think just Drink", LOL?:eek:

Luckily, my living room and kitchen are open to each other. All the glory of the 15's while we are cooking and eating. However, we will soon be relocating so we'll see what set up we end up with.

I agree. A kitchen setup is a must!

For completeness, a pair of EPI 1000s, with their creator (Win Burhoe) for scale. Mr. Burhoe was, and is, a rather tall man...

oh trust me, I know tequila rules. Love the stuff. Don Julio 1942 remains one of my favs however very hard to find around here.

and a little tough grillin' living in an apartment. Trust me, when I get a house it will be grill grill grill baby. I do tend to grill a lot however winter doesn't always allow.

once I get over this annoying head cold I'll be doing some drinkin' and no thinkin' thats for sure.
