Anyone try Sony?s Google TV yet?

My older parents want to be able to stream foreign shows from some subscription based website on their tv, as well as view pictures on tv from their external hard drive. I was thinking of the best way to achieve this and saw that Sony has just released their 2nd version of GTV (Google TV) set top box, which seems to have web browsing, and external usb device plug ins. My main concern is ease of use for the extremely technologically challenged folk, and I?m trying to figure out an option that would be as seamless as possible, lol!

Anyone have this nifty little box? Opinions?

What subscription website are they needing? If they serve videos as a Flingo stream then it will be much easier to do than browsing to a website.

You know I'm not even sure. It's some eastern european site that I think uses their own streaming service. I'm pretty sure I can create a shortcut to the site for them so it's probably not going to be too dificult to navigate to it, I hope...

I have their 40 inch TV. Works fine, but I wish I would of bought a larger keypad

This new gtv2 from sony is suppose to have some cool universal remote with it. So im liking the idea that my parents wont have to worry about keeping a wireless keyboard and mouse around.

I have a ton of sony rewards points, so i'll probably try it. Sony entertainment stuff is also on there so im hoping i dont have to hear "rent us a movie this weekend" anymore. Ill just show them how to stream stuff :-)

Would someone who has gtv be willing to try this site for me and let me know if they can stream from it? I just want to make double sure it works, because this site will be the main use for the device. I would really appreciate it, BIG TIME!
