Went exploring

I went looking for Halloween stuff the other day. There is one store that I always go to for this kind off stuff, Garden Ridge. If you want really cheap, crappy stuff, this is the place. I'll start by saying the selection this year isn't very good, at this place or any others. Just way to many skeletons, and light on everything else. Did find a cool giant bat at another store, but that really doesn't matter.
The problem that I saw, upon entering this establishment, is Christmas decorations have already taken over. They don't have the inflatable displays out yet, but pretty much every thing else. Like many others, I like Christmas displays/decorations, and have a modest amount myself. I can even see a train set added this year, with various buildings being acquired later. There are however a couple of things that I could never imagine owning.
You see this store will always live in my mind as the only place on the planet brave enough to sell an orange Christmas tree. Not the "burnt orange" coveted by fans of the University of Texas. No this is extremely bright orange. How this puts anybody In a festive mood has always puzzled me.
Well to my amazement, they have outdone themselves this year. New to the "realism" of the bright orange tree this year is hot pink and neon blue. Being a guy, I am dificient in exotic colors, but I hope the general idea is expressed. Just letting those of you who have been waiting for a little excitement over a traditional colored for a fake tree, the time has arrived. They still stock the ever popular purple and aluminium silver also.

I didn't see one of those, but I guess you can use one of those Charlie Brown trees, and hang it with wire. They sell the Charlie Brown trees also.

Christmas decorations out in September? Impressive...I always thought it was a rule that you couldn't listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving, but that's since been infringed upon by most radio stations around here, and it's getting earlier and earlier every year.

Give it couple more years and Christmas would be year round festivities

The seasonal Halloween stores in my neck of the woods have not even opened up yet.
Probably in the next week or so. And they are completely gone on Nov 1.
