I have always felt that, by and large, most people are decent, while the idiots, morons, and fools of the world cause all the problems, and get all the press. I hope that this protest in Libya is the start of normal people throwing off the chains of the lunatics, and starting to take back their life from "The Stupid People".

Only when that happens will the Middle East, and the rest of the world, live in peace.

True, but for any progress to be made these guys need to use their own sticks, and make their own choices. Of course we can help, but sometimes that backfires.

Unfortunately I don't see things settling down anytime soon in the middle east. Unfortunately the problems have occured for the same reasons they have occured for about 1600 years. Throw religion into any disagreement, and it intesities by a factor of at least 100.

True...religion is their culture. To get rid of either.....not going to happen. Though one would think any religion that justifies harm to others in my opinion is not a religion at all. Our planet is very diverse in it's cultures/religions, only the middle east lacks tolerance for others views and is dead set on converting the rest of the world.....at any expense. The sooner the rest of the world wakes up to those facts, the better.

Peace and middle east are like oil and water. Peace will never happen in our lifetime or our children's children lifetime.
