Does anyone know if the Sl dd-22 has a built in phono pre-amp?

the older vintage turntables did not have built in phono pre amps since all the receivers and integrated units had phono inputs.2-ch System: Parasound P/LD 2000 pre, Parasound HCA-1000 amp, Parasound T/DQ Tuner, Phase Technology PC-100 Tower speakers, Technics SL-1600 Turntable, Denon 2910 SACD/CD player, Peachtree DAC iT and X1asynchorus USB converter, HSU VTF-3 subwoofer.

Welcome to Club Polk!
THM is correct. That is a p-mount technics, early '90s though! Unlikely to have pre-amp built in. But it does not cost much to add a basic phono pre-amp into your system. something like this, perhaps?

not a lot and better than the cheap pre-amps that come built in with the cheap turntables.
How is your needle?
