16sqm room - priority music, but will be used for occasional gaming
Hi everyone
I'm looking at two front speakers to use primarily for music listening - I do have a budget so I cannot go with ultra high end but I was looking at RTI a9 and LSiM703 as possible fronts.
Is there any opinion on the two? Without a sub, would the RTI be better? Or are the LSiM703 that much better?
I live in Malta, Europe and cannot demo these
At the moment I have a home theater setup consisting of:
2x TSi 500 Fronts
4x TSi 300 Surrounds
1x CS 20 Center
I really like this setup so I'm thinking that the two sets mentioned above would be a good jump.
Help deciding would be appreciated.
Regards
Sean

* 16 sqm ≈ 170 sqf for non-metric folks
Sean, welcome to the forums!
If you already like the setup you have, what are you looking to improve? Do you already have enough power for TSi500? The other two you are considering will want even more to shine.
Are you planning to replace the rest of the speakers to match the new fronts? If no, I would look into spending money elsewhere in the system. -
Thanks ! Whoops I think I wasn't very clear in my original post
I am keeping the home theater setup .. It was my first venture into separates and I loved the Polk . So now I decided to go Polk again for another room which is going to be my getaway room -
The 703's I would think are hard to beat...
What other equipment will you be using? -
